Our friendship bloomed after being paired together as writers on a project. From there, we soon realized we were (nearly) neighbours and that we both loved to make things--from crafting the perfect sentence and creating stories on a blank page to making signs and banners to adorn the walls of our character homes.

Everyday Diamonds is a collaborative shop. We inspire each other and craft together. We have decided to bring our passion to create to our little Etsy shop, Everyday Diamonds and are thrilled to share our creations with you.

We are writers: we both love crafting a poetic, pretty sentence. Jess' first book was published in March 2013, and it's called Rosina, The Midwife. Nicole writes stories and puts her skills to use writing materials for the non-profit organization Change for Children.

We are crafters: we often take our love of words (pretty phrases, sayings, etc. etc.) off the page and onto wood, fabric, canvas, chalkboards… you name it!
